Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $100 Million Following No-Winner Draw

Mega Millions Hits $100M Again After Friday Draw Leaves Jackpot Untouched

The Mega Millions jackpot is back in six-figure territory after no ticket matched all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing.

The August 14 draw offered a jackpot worth $90 million, with a cash option of $38.7 million. But once again, nobody hit the full winning combination needed to take home the top prize.

The winning numbers were 3, 23, 27, 46 and 60. The gold Mega Ball was 11.

There were also no Match 5 winners in the drawing, meaning no player landed one of the game’s major non-jackpot prizes. Still, a handful of tickets came close enough to collect some solid payouts.

Seven players matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball. Their prizes depended on the multiplier attached to their tickets.

Three players won $20,000 with a 2x multiplier. One player took home $30,000 with a 3x multiplier. Two others scored $50,000 thanks to a 5x multiplier.

The biggest winner of the night was one lucky player who turned a near miss into a $100,000 payday after hitting four white numbers and the Mega Ball with a 10x multiplier. Not life-changing money on the scale of a jackpot, but definitely the kind of win that can make a Friday night unforgettable.

With the jackpot still unclaimed, Mega Millions has now climbed to an estimated $100 million. The current cash option stands at $42.8 million.

The game is still building back up after its latest major win. Last month, a Florida player matched all six numbers to claim an $800 million Mega Millions jackpot. The winner has not yet come forward, but when they do, they will have the choice between the full annuity prize or a lump-sum payment of $344.2 million.

That Florida jackpot was the third Mega Millions top-prize win of 2026. Since then, the game has gone through a quieter stretch, with fewer big wins and no major jackpot drama.

Some of that attention may have shifted to Powerball, which recently enjoyed a longer jackpot run and plenty of hype. Still, Mega Millions appears to be finding its groove again.

A Match 5 prize recently landed in South Carolina, and now the jackpot has reached $100 million. That is usually the point where more players start taking a shot.
