Lady Luck was on the side of several fortunate slots players who hit massive jackpots worth over a million dollars each. Five lucky winners collectively took home a whopping $12 million in prize money from slots games created by International Game Technology.
The biggest winner was a guest at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas who scored $1.5 million playing IGT’s Whitney Houston-themed slots game. This marks the largest jackpot ever awarded on this game since its 2019 launch.
Two other guests also beat the million-dollar mark playing Wheel of Fortune slots games. Over in Greenville, one winner spun their way to $3.25 million playing the Wheel of Fortune Triple Gold Spin. And at an Arizona casino, another guest won $1.7 million playing Wheel of Fortune High Roller.
Megabucks, IGT’s original millionaire-making slots game, lived up to its name once again when a California player won a $4.1 million prize playing Megabucks Mega Vault. Launched in 1986, Megabucks is recognized as the first-ever wide-area progressive jackpot system.
April was clearly the month when slot dreams came true for a few fortunate players. IGT estimates its slot games have created over 1,200 millionaires worldwide.
