Lucky $5 Spin Turns Connecticut Player Into Instant Millionaire at Mohegan Sun
A normal day at Mohegan Sun unexpectedly changed into a millionaire moment for a local Connecticut resident, who hit a staggering jackpot of over $1.7 million from just a $5 slot bet.
Event unfolded at Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth, where the fortunate visitor was by a “Jackpot Buffalo” slot machine. A single spin, some blinking lights, and the screen announced “Mega Grand Jackpot.” Disorderly manner, the whole prize came to a massive $1,759,779.63 and was all a result of a five-dollar bet.
Mohegan Sun published the announcement that the record-breaking jackpot was hit on a Sunday and the winner is a Connecticut resident. While the jackpot winner’s identity is still a mystery, the casino certainly got a shot of adrenaline from the announcement. The employees and other patrons stopped whatever they were doing to applaud and take some pictures as the slot machine went into celebration mode.
The Jackpot Buffalo slot, which led the big win, is actually famous for its vivid graphics, the buffalo herd signs, and mainly for the exciting bonus feature rounds with high stakes. The “Mega Grand” tier is the maximum level award in this game, and it isn’t easy to be lucky enough to win it; hence, this is one of the largest payouts at Mohegan Sun this year.
Getting ones in the millions at Mohegan Sun, though, isn’t exactly something new. The place has been long paying multi-million-dollar jackpots to both locals and travelers, so slot fans always have a reason to get back for their shot at the next big moment
